Our work to support individual children includes:
- Observations of individual pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural difficulties
- Planning meetings with staff and parents
- Advice and support with individual target setting (IEPs & Provision Maps)
- Modelling and advice / training individual staff
- Advice on strategies and use of resources
- Advice and support on use of behaviour support plans and positive handling plans
- Advice on timetabling for pupils with SEMH needs incorporating learning/movement breaks where necessary
- Identifying safe places in school
- Advice to staff on the use of visual supports such as timetables, task organisers, reward charts
- Advice and support for running Circles of Friends
- Advice and support on use of social skills development programmes
- Creating Passports for use with supply staff/visiting adults
